With a market capitalization of 4.1T Naira ($25.3B), Dangote Cement is the largest company traded on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Dangote Cement is the largest cement production company in Africa with production capacity of 20M tons per year. Dangote Cement is investing more than $4B to expand its production and import capacity to around 60M tons per year by the end of 2016. Dangote Cement presently has three plants in Nigeria and is in the process of expanding to 13 other African countries.

Dangote Cement is led by its Founder, Aliko Dangote, who is also the company’s Chairman and CEO. According to Forbes and Bloomberg, Aliko Dangote is the richest man in Africa. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Aliko Dangote is the 28th richest person in the world, with a net worth of $25.1B.
